The Teeter FreeStep Recumbent Cross Trainer is designed for people who want a full-body cardio and strength workout in a seated position. Instead of using the circular motion associated with a traditional exercise bike, the FreeStep uses a natural stepping stride combined with synchronized upper- and lower-body movement. Teeter says the patented stride technology is designed to reduce stress on the hips, knees, and ankles.
The machine's Dual Power Motion allows the arms and legs to work together, while adjustable resistance lets users change workout intensity. The FreeStep also uses friction-free magnetic resistance for a smoother and quieter workout experience.
Comfort is another important part of the design. The recumbent seat provides a supported workout position, while the adjustable handles allow users to change their grip and target different upper-body muscle groups. The current LT7 version has a larger ComfortMax seat with three-position recline and depth adjustment.
The 350-pound weight capacity makes the LT7 suitable for a broad range of users. It also includes transport wheels, making it easier to move around the home when necessary.
