EVIQO Level 2 EV Charger J1772 48A - Hardwired 240V Wall Charging Station

The EVIQO Level 2 EV Charger is designed for electric vehicle owners seeking faster and more convenient home charging. Its 48-amp output delivers up to 11.5kW of charging power at 240V, offering a substantial improvement over standard Level 1 charging. The hardwired design requires a dedicated 60-amp electrical circuit and professional installation to support continuous 48A operation. Its SAE J1772 connector works with compatible North American electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids, while Tesla vehicles can connect using an appropriate adapter. The included 25-foot cable provides flexibility when positioning vehicles in garages or driveways.

The charger features 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connectivity and smartphone app controls for scheduling charging sessions, adjusting current, and monitoring electricity consumption. Users can schedule charging during off-peak utility hours to potentially reduce operating costs. Its IP66 and NEMA 4-rated enclosure provides protection against dust and water, making it suitable for indoor or outdoor installation. The unit also incorporates electrical safeguards against overheating, overcurrent, voltage irregularities, and leakage faults. Manufacturer-listed certifications include ETL, FCC, and ENERGY STAR. However, installation costs and electrical-panel upgrades may increase the overall investment. Charging performance also depends on the vehicle's onboard AC charger. Overall, EVIQO offers a capable solution for convenient, connected home EV charging.
